Let’s Chat: Book a Free Discovery Call

I understand that taking the first step on a new healing path can bring up questions. You might be wondering if this approach is the right fit for you, how it all works, or whether it can truly help with your unique story. That is precisely why I offer this complimentary discovery call.

For so long, we’re taught to see our bodies as a collection of parts to be fixed, often leading to treatments that only chase the symptoms. My approach is different. It’s about seeing the whole, interconnected picture—your beautiful fascial onesie—and understanding that the tightness in your shoulder might be an echo of an old injury elsewhere. This call is our chance to see if this new, more holistic perspective feels like the right path for you.

This is a dedicated, unhurried 15-20 minute chat for us to connect. It is a no-pressure conversation designed entirely to see if my approach resonates with you and to answer any questions you may have.

The Purpose of Our Call is Simple & Empowering

  • For You to Share Your Story: So I can listen with a compassionate ear to what you’ve been experiencing and what you’re hoping to achieve.
  • For You to Understand My Approach: So I can briefly explain the philosophy behind my work—seeing the body as an interconnected whole—and how it might apply to you.
  • For Us to See if We’re a Good Fit: Most importantly, it’s for both of us to feel if we are the right fit to work together. The therapeutic relationship is at the heart of all healing, and it needs to feel right for you.

Your Questions, Answered

Hello my lovelies. It’s completely natural to have questions when you’re starting a new journey with your body. I’ve gathered some of the most common ones here to help bring some clarity. If your question isn’t answered below, please don’t hesitate to book a Free Discovery Call to chat.

Your First Consultation is a comprehensive 75-90 minute session where we take the time to have a deep conversation about your history, conduct a holistic assessment of your posture and movement, and begin our hands-on therapeutic work. It’s where we map out our journey together. A Follow-Up Consultation is a 60-minute session designed to build upon our previous work, respond to how your body has shifted, and progress your self-care plan.

Comfort is key! Please wear comfortable, unrestrictive clothing that you can move in easily, much like you would for a gentle yoga or Pilates class. Leggings or soft trousers and a comfortable top are perfect. We work with the body as a whole, so being able to move freely is very important.

Absolutely not. My entire approach is built on the principle that true, lasting release happens when the body feels safe enough to let go, not when it’s being forced. This work is a gentle invitation, never a demand. While we may work with tender areas, the techniques are applied with mindful awareness and should feel deeply releasing and restorative, not painful.

Most people leave feeling lighter, more spacious, and with a greater sense of ease and connection to their body. It’s not uncommon to feel deeply relaxed and perhaps a little tired as your nervous system settles. We always recommend taking it easy for the rest of the day and drinking plenty of water to help your body integrate the changes.

This is a wonderful and important question. Your body has its own unique story and timeline for healing. Some people experience significant relief and gain the awareness they need after just one or two sessions. Those with more complex or long-held patterns may benefit from a series of sessions to gently unwind the different layers. My aim is always to empower you with the awareness and tools you need to become your own body’s expert, not to create dependency. We will always discuss a plan that feels right for you.

While a traditional massage can be wonderful for general relaxation, our work is more like becoming a detective in your body. We focus on the ‘why’ behind your discomfort. We work with the entire fascial web (your body’s interconnected onesie) to address the root cause of your patterns, rather than just chasing the symptoms. We blend hands-on therapy with mindful movement re-education, empowering you with the tools to create lasting change yourself.

Yes, absolutely. In fact, this approach is often a game-changer for those with hypermobility. Instead of focusing on more stretching, we work on creating stability from your deep core—finding your “central pole” so the overworked “guy ropes” can relax. We teach your body to find its end range safely and build the structural integrity it needs to feel supported, which can be profoundly helpful.

Think of it this way, my loves. For ages, we thought our bodies were like a stack of building blocks, all propped up by our bones. Biotensegrity shows us that we’re actually more like a beautifully constructed tent, where the poles (our bones) are floating and held in place by the tension in the fabric (our fascia). It means we’re designed to be light, spacious, and incredibly strong, and our therapy is all about helping you feel that.

A doctor’s referral is not required to book a consultation. However, if you are under medical care for a specific condition or have had recent surgery, it is always a good practice to inform your doctor that you are seeking complementary therapy.

For any scar therapy, it is essential that your wound is fully closed, and you have been given clearance by your surgeon or healthcare professional (usually around 6-8 weeks post-op). However, it is never too late to begin. I have worked with scars that are decades old with wonderful results. The body’s capacity to change and heal is always present.

I understand that life happens. I kindly request a minimum of 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows me the time to offer the space to someone else who may be in need. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged the full session fee.
